Thai Spicy Week Cook-Off at Wyndham Casablanca Jakarta

In the heat of Thai Spicy Week at Wyndham Casablanca Jakarta Hotel, apart of the mouthwatering authentic Thai cuisine, ready your palate for a battle between the head chefs of Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay and Wyndham Casablanca Jakarta Hotel. The food bout which will be held on 12 September at Riva Grill Bar & Terrace, Thailand's Chef Jaturon "Eddy" Homkaew will go stove-to-stove against Indonesia's Chef Deden Gumilar, preparing a six-course meal and pre-dinner drinks for guests. Guests will play a role in the competition to determine the winner through their votes. Special Thai cuisine lunch and dinner buffet will also be available to enjoy during a limited period from 9 to 14 September at Wyndham Casablanca Jakarta Hotel before moving to Wyndham Opi Hotel Palembang on 17 to 22 September and Wyndham Surabaya City Centre on 25 to 30 September.

Accompanying Chef Eddy on his journey to showcase authentic Thai cuisine is Chef Orathai "Toi" Sukthongngam. Both chefs stress the importance of using the freshest ingredients in their food and have high standard of fruit and vegetable carving. Meanwhile, the home team leader Chef Deden Gumilar, is the Culinary Director at Wyndham Casablanca Jakarta who has led his team to win 10 awards at the recently concluded 12th Salon Culinaire - the largest competition for chefs in Indonesia.
