PT. Map Aktif Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPA), the leading fashion retail company in Indonesia for sportswear and lifestyle announced its succesful achievement business year of 2018, exceeding internal company record during a Public Expose on 15 May 2019 at Ayana MidPlaza in Jakarta.

This is shown by the increment of 23% net profit with IDR 6,2 trillion compared to 2017 same period with IDR 5,1 trillion, while operating profit increased 40,8% from IDR 616 billion in 2017 to IDR 867 billion. Net profit growth is at 37,9% from IDR 458 billion in 2017 to IDR 631 billion. 
 
 
Based on this financial achievement, MAPA continues to grow its high increase in net income with its multi-tier retail platform to its customers on the premium, mid to lower segmentation, both online and offline, as explained by Ratih D Gianda as Corporate Secretary. Furthermore, MAPA is a leading retail marketing company, not only a retailer with strong opportunity for growth in highly under penetrated sector and with a 63% market share. With more than 40 exclusive brands and top brands namely Skechers, Converse, Reebok, New Balance, Diadora and others, MAPA will continue to plan for growth with a combination of short and long term opportunities on our agenda. In 2019, a continued focus on profitable store expansion, enhanced speed and efficiency of our supply chain/stock turn, a maximization of sales for brand partners, and an increased focus towards Digital sales and marketing, as explained by Michael D Capper as President Director.
