A new lifestyle and entertainment mall located in East Jakarta, AEON Mall Jakarta Garden City, finally opened its doors for the public on 30 September 2017 with a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by kabuki and various music performances. Visitors from Jakarta and Bekasi showed their enthusiasm and flocked the mall, exploring the unique experiences it had to offer.

Among the tenants currently open are Sushi King - the first of the Malaysian franchise in Indonesia, Funworld - with forest-themed decoration to match the mall's green concept, CGV Cinema - one of the studios can host 700 audiences, J Trust Bank - cafe concept bank experience, Opal Coffee and Roastery - serving fresh coffee from their own plantation, and Fanpekka - indoor playground with Finnish theme offering a fun and educative experience unlike any others.

There are three food courts to satisfy any culinary lovers - one with a card payment system on the third floor, Zoo Cafe to entice the kids on the second floor, and Delicatessen on the ground floor for ready-to-eat options - similar to the one on AEON Mall BSD City but with far more seating capacity.

Spread over three floors, AEON retail has a supermarket with healthy food corner and local snacks among other general necessities, AEON Bicycle with a wide range of prices, ladies and men's fashion featuring AEON's fashion brand Topvalu, Japanese-inspired Indonesian brand kirei desu, and Karuizawa Shirt, affordable pattern order shirt.

In the toys and hobby floor, a large Tomica corner and display is sure to attract attention.

The outdoor area also stole attention with al fresco dining selections, illuminated garden, rooftop playground, and large first ferris wheel on top of the shopping mall called J-Sky (Jakarta Sky) from which you can view the surrounding area.
