Hyatt Community Grant 2021 Awarded to Yayasan Emmanuel

Hyatt Hotels Foundation contributes in developing the local community around the world through Hyatt Community Grant, a funding program for those in need. In Jakarta, the fund was awarded to Yayasan Emmanuel, whose main cause focuses on children and youth welfare. The symbolic ceremony was held at Grand Hyatt on 19 April 2022, then followed with breaking the fast and prayer with the orphans.

Yayasan Emmanuel is a non profit organization that serves the underprivileged and children with special needs. The foundation receives the funding with a total of US$ 18.530 or IDR 260,000,000 from Hyatt Community Grant 2021. The donation will be used for scholarships and formal education for children and youth with limited access to education in Bogor and Sukabumi area. Some of them will be exposed to on-the-job training for six to 12 months at Grand Hyatt Jakarta.

On top of the education program, Grand Hyatt Jakarta had also participated in the Food Rescue program by Yayasan Emmanuel for over 15 years. The capital's iconic hotel has actively delivered approximately six to eight kilograms of food daily to diverse communities in need around Jakarta.
