Hotel Borobudur Jakarta newly appointed General Manager, Gerhard L. Doll

The city's most iconic premier 5 star property, Hotel Borobudur Jakarta recently announced Gerhard L. Doll as the newly appointed General Manager to lead the executive management team of the hotel.

Gerhard has 25 years of extensive experience and expertise in luxury hospitality segmentation, garnered across 10 countries from Europe, North America and Asia with top brands including The Peninsula, The Ritz Carlton and The Mandarin Oriental Group. Gerhard's previous assignment prior to joining the Hotel Borobudur was as the General Manager of The Crimson Hotel, Filinvest City, Manila.

Born and raised in Germany, Gerhard is particularly focused on guest experiences, innovative products and trend settings. His mantra “Great service should happen without guests knowing where it comes from”. He originally comes from a culinary background, and later on completed his Hotel Management Diploma at Cornell University.
