CapitaLand’s wholly-owned lodging business unit, The Ascott Limited (Ascott), has executed a management agreement with one of the leading property developers and hospitality owners in Indonesia – Agung Sedayu Group through its subsidiary company, PT Citra Kirana Apartel on Friday, 5 February 2021. With this collaboration, Ascott will manage 167 apartment units under the Somerset Serviced Residence brand and will be part of the Puri Mansion mixed-use development.

The serviced residence, tentatively known as “Somerset Puri Mansion Jakarta” will be positioned as a flagship Somerset brand in the vicinity.  In addition to Somerset Puri Mansion Jakarta, the recently opened Harris Suites Puri Mansion (operational since October 2020), a hotel managed under Tauzia Hotel Management (Tauzia), a member of Ascott is co-located within the same mixed-use development. This marks the first serviced residence-hotel combination lodging product for Ascott in Indonesia, with each lodging product catering to different market segments in the Puri Kembangan area. Somerset Puri Mansion Jakarta is slated to be completed by 2022 and will be the ninth Somerset property in Indonesia and the first Somerset property located in West Jakarta.

Strategically located in the business-district area of Puri Kembangan West Jakarta, Somerset Puri Mansion Jakarta surrounded by many point of interests such as; Puri Indah Mall, Lippo Mall Puri (St. Moritz), Jakarta Outer Ring Road highway, and only 30 minutes away to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. The serviced residence will offer Studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments designed for short-stay travelers and long-stay guests as well as families with children. The property will be equipped with facilities including a swimming pool, gymnasium, residents’ lounge, breakfast lounge, meeting room, and children’s playroom.

With the recent opening of Citadines Berawa Beach Bali, Ascott’s portfolio including those managed by Tauzia has over 150 properties and more than 23,000 units across over 40 cities in Indonesia, reinforcing Ascott’s position as the largest international owner and operator of serviced residences and hotels in Indonesia.
