New fabrics, designs and techniques star the new UNIQLO U Spring/Summer 2018 collection made perfect by the UNIQLO Paris R&D Center led by Artistic Director Christophe Lemaire. Upholding flexibility, it's inspired by nature and focuses on loose yet refined silhouette, laid-back style and a dash of '50s feel, with both muted and bright colors.
The first batch, already available in UNIQLO stores, features accessories like bags for all occassions, sneakers, sandals and tapebelts. The knitwears offer dresses to tops and cardigans, but the highlights are those made with wholegarment technique and 3D knits, allowing them to follow and flatter the curves of your figure without a single seam. Crew neck t-shirts use new and upgraded fabric, resulting in thicker material yet cool and airy when worn. This season also presents coats and jackets with BLOCKTECH technology, fashionably functional with its capabilty to repel water and wind while allowing it to still feel cool during warmer temperature. The women short coat comes with a stylish belt while the men's maintain its simple silhouette with just enough eye-catching features. Meanwhile, the popular Ultra Light Down gets an update with tactical inspired onion quilting seams and a built-in pouch with an attached key ring for your travel convenience.
The second batch will be launched in 9 March 2018, featuring pleated dresses, and packable long parka with built-in pouch to add to the compact value, and blouses with unique cuts. Last but not least, 14 April 2018 will mark the launch of the third batch, with attractive striped t-shirts and open collar shirts, combination sleeveless gather dress, along with one and two-piece women seamless swimwear which can also be used for other sports or innerwear.
