The Garden's Tropical Garden Brunch

After months in the planning, the first ever chefs collaboration Tropical Garden Brunch was held in The Garden, Pantai Indah Kapuk Jakarta on 16-17 March 2019. Bringing an Australian brunch experience straight from Melbourne, Chef Felipe Guedes of Lenny 3206 worked with The Garden's Executive Chef Jonathan Tjandra to present the special menu for the event which had garnered much anticipation from the regulars. The Common Grounds Coffee pop-up cart also served special blend coffee for The Garden,  concoction of Mikael Jasin - Indonesia's No.1 barista.
Fitting the lush and bright vibe of The Garden, Chef Felipe's brunch presentation style was blooming rich in colors, with salad and edible flowers. The taste matched the view. There were two dishes most recommended by the chef himself.
Duck and Waffles presented 16-hour sous vide duck leg with crispy skin, herb and cheese waffle, apple salad, juniper infused maple, crumbled feta and friend egg. The other one is the sweet treats of Cookie and Cream Ricotta Hotcake, with the perfect combination of white chocolate glaze, Oreo biscuit, caramelized banana, chocolate earth, vanilla ice cream, strawberries and the soft, thick hotcake. 
Other menus featured in the event were Avocado Crush, Healthy Bowl Berries, Mushroom Pithivier, Oxtail Pot Special, Eggcellent Porklicious Benedict and Balinese Pork Bao Burger.
