Prambanan Temple once again played the graceful host to the Prambanan Jazz Festival 2020 which marks its 6th year as the longest live-streaming event in Indonesia. In the shadow of the infamous global pandemic, the event turned fully virtual this year and showcased the full view of the majestic temple which acts as the backdrop. Safety measures were taken with extra attention to detail on this occasion without interrupting the highlights and live events such as the arrival of guest performers, and allowing viewers to still get up close and personal without being on location.

The promoter, Rajawali Indonesia, also initiated a wall of fans, a live screen where viewers were able to interact with the performing artists. The first day, Saturday 31 October, saw Joko In Berlin open the festival followed by Fourtwnty, Isyana Sarasvati, Pusakata, Tompi, Dere and Tulus. The second day was filled with performances by Ardhito Pramono, TheEverydayBand, Nadin Amizah, Pamungkas, Sinten Remen feat. Endah Laras, and Yura Yunita.
