The fourth Plaza Indonesia Film Festival (PIFF) will run from 20 February to 2 March 2018, bringing award-winning films from Indonesia and around the world, Short Film Competition and Movie Clinic. With the theme of "Love Philosophy", PIFF 2018 presents films that tell the dark and bright sides of love from diverse viewpoints.
Viewers can see Sekala Niskala (Indonesia), The Beguiled (US), On Body and Soul (Hungary), Loveless (Russia), Loving Vincent (Europe), Felicite (France), Night Bus (Indonesia), The Square (Sweden), The Gift (Indonesia) and Laut Bercerita (Indonesia), curated by Pabrikultur. All film screenings are free of charge and the tickets are available at the venue 2 hours prior to each schedule. Short Film Competition with "Love" theme will also open for registration on 1 March 2018 and the winners will be announced on 1 July 2018.
To further support the local film industry, Movie Clinic will be held on 20-23 February 2018, consisting of Acting Clinic with Reza Rahadian & Christine Hakim, Directing Clinic with Lucky Kuswandi & Mouly Surya, Production Clinic with Lala Timothy & Rama Adhi, and Scriptwriting Clinic with Ernest Prakasa.
