Muslim Fashion Festival Indonesia (MUFFEST) took place again between the 19th and 22nd of April 2018 in the Main Lobby & Plenary Hall, Jakarta Convention Center. The event was officially opened by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Joko Widodo, together with the Minister of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Airlangga Hartanto, Cabinet Secretary of the Republic of Indonesia, Pramono Anung and Ali Charisma as National Chairman of Indonesian Fashion Chamber (IFC).
At the opening ceremony, MUFFEST 2018 presented a showcase of several designers, among others are Sofie, ETU by Restu Anggraini, Noore and Ernesto Abram, and designer parade incorporated in the Indonesia Fashion Chamber (IFC)
After the Opening Ceremony, the main stage featured a fashion show entitled "De Brevitate Vitae" (On the Shortness of Life) featuring works by designers incorporated with the Islamic Fashion Institute (IFI), Elsha Kurnia Lestari, Runny Soema Di Praja, Diamond Maulina, Sherly Az Zahra, Annisa Ramadhanti, Lydia Marissa, Gina Gantina Abdurahman, Lia Iril, Fathia Rahmawati, Wiwin F. Kosasih, Irma Intan, and Anita Yuni Kholillah.
The MUFFEST 2018 event program also held seminars and talk shows, one of them being the 2019/2020 Trend Forecast seminar. The exhibition area featured more than 400 brands including Muslim fashion, hijab, accessories, and other attributes that lead to ready-to-wear craft fashion products by lifting local content that refers to Indonesia Trend Forecasting (Muslim Fashion Trend) 2018/2019.
