On the 25th floor of Alila SCBD Jakarta, the first Hakkasan in Southeast Asia combines sweeping urban views and lustrous ambiance with fresh cocktails and Cantonese dishes paired with extensive wine list. Chef de Cuisine Sky Wong Kum Choy presents authentic and signature dishes so beautifully, making them a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. Celebrating local communities, Hakkasan Jakarta lays exclusive dishes and cocktails focusing on seasonality and local produce with premium quality.
You may start small by ordering Crispy Quail Egg Puff with half-boiled yolks or Supreme Dim Sum Platter with scallop shui mai, seabass dumpling, truffle har gau and lobster crab dumpling. Among the rich and impressive main course menu, you have to try the flavorful Stir-fry Black Pepper Rib with Merlot and Roasted Truffle Duck with Mushroom Tea Tree, added with Three Style Mushroom Stir-Fry to complete the taste. Seafood lovers would enjoy Roasted Silver Cod with Champagne and Honey or Abalone and Dried Scallop Fried Rice. For dessert, try the gorgeously presented Black Swan Puff with Musang King Durian or Chocolate Peanut with caramel parfait, crystalized peanut and salted chocolate sauce.
These dishes may be paired with the Hakkasan wine program. It has broken new ground in pairing world-class wines with Cantonese cuisine, with headings such as “Curious Vines: Distinctive Wines”, “Genius without a Château: The New Classics” and “Spiritual Wines”. Aside from that, you may also sample signature cocktails crafted by Hakkasan’s expansive mixology program.
At lunchtime, you can choose to dine a la carte, while business professionals can enjoy a Hakkasan dining experience under one hour with the Yum Cha menu. Accompanied with Chinese tea, it features your selection of dim sum, main course and dessert.
Hakkasan Jakarta is open everyday for lunch and dinner, with the bar opening at lunchtime until late. There are two private dining rooms that can be combined. A rooftop experience is being prepared, along with future programs such as Hakkatini Nights and Dim Sum Sundays.
