Creations that pay tribute to the craftsmen spirit and art of personalization

For their Summer 2020 collection campaign, Berluti, the now fourth-generation creator of shoes, fine leather goods and clothing, features Eddie Peng as their Brand Ambassador under the artistic direction of Kris Van Assche, Artistic Director of Berluti. The campaign captures the image of the modern gentlemen with a free and adventurous spirit.

With a well-known heritage, the house has given a fresh re-interpretation to the iconic Scritto pattern. The blue coat, in fine suede, is imbedded with the Scritto pattern, and the blue suit integrates the Scritto pattern immaculately into the draping by using a Jacquard technique that matches to the fine wool, maximising comfort that goes well with a lightweight silk shirt and tie, in Scritto as well.

In the shadow of the black and white, the brand-new collection exhibited a silver-grey bomber jacket in nylon, embellished with the Scritto pattern. Adorned with buckskin to the zipper, cuffs and neckline - a smart ornament to the casual style - it is made more comfortable with a superb waterproof function. Along with a fine-tailored wool suit in coordinating colours, it offers vividness to the classic Scritto pattern. The silk shirt in marble pattern is a masterpiece that offers impeccable styling for the season. It is inspired by the marble table on which the craftsmen work on the leather in Manifattura Berluti in Ferrara Italy.

For the launch of illusion patina exclusive service, combining a traditional stencil technique with the Maison’s elaborate patina know-how, Berluti is offering an exclusive pattern this season; hand-made alligator scales – the first of many pattern to come – and also the opportunity to add your preferred initials. All thoughtfully applied to our emblematic products by our Berluti Artisans’ hands. Like a painter, our Berluti artisan approaches the craft of illusion patina, creating the hand-made alligator pattern.
